Seguindo o exemplo de GTA, a produtora Hangar 13 está caprichando na trilha sonora de Mafia 3. O jogo terá mais de 100 músicas dos anos 60 e incluirá artistas como os Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Aretha Franklin e Creedence Clearwater Revival, além de composições originais.
A edição de colecionador de Mafia 3 virá com uma amostra em vinil da trilha sonora, sendo um disco dedicado a artistas conhecidos e o outro dedicado às composições originais.
