Resident Evil Village é sem dúvidas o grande destaque entre os lançamentos de jogos de maio de 2021, mas não é o único digno de atenção.
Além do horror de sobrevivência da Capcom, o mês reserva algumas opções interessantes principalmente em versões de jogos consagrados para novas plataformas, como é o caso do jogo de caminhões SnowRunner em sua versão para Switch, Days Gone no PC e Mass Effect Legendary Edition, que leva a primeira trilogia da série às plataformas mais recentes, incluindo o PS5 e Xbox Series X|S.
Outra versão remasterizada que chega em maio é Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne HD Remaster, o icônico RPG lançado pela Atlus em 2003. O jogo conta uma história perturbadora de um apocalipse que destrói Tóquio e mistura os poucos sobreviventes com os espíritos daqueles que morreram.
Buscando jóias de um passado ainda mais distante, a Nintendo lança em maio novas versões de Famicom Detective Club, uma série de detetive que estreou no NES japonês em 1988 e volta agora com gráficos e interface refeitas no Switch.
